At Bella Ballerina our aim is always to keep our dancers safe and happy. In reopening, you can come to expect the following measures and protocols in place to ensure a safe environment for attending students. However, in the event that you do not wish to rejoin us in the studio, WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER ONLINE CLASSES VIA THE #BellaAtHome portal! You may rejoin us in the studio whenever you are comfortable doing so!
As always, if your dancer is sick, please do not attend class. If a member of your family is sick, please stay home as well and take advantage of zoom classes for that time.
LASTLY, THESE NEW CHANGES IN THE STUDIO WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO GET USED TO. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MAKE THIS TRANSITION EASY ON STUDENTS SO PLEASE ALLOW US THE TIME TO TEACH STUDENTS ABOUT THE NEW RULES AS SOME CLASS TIME WILL BE SPENT DOING SO.
This is also a very difficult time for all of our families. Please be respectful of other families' practices during this time. We hope you have faith in our studio and our continued efforts to allow the students the opportunity to dance in a safe space!
We are very excited about the Summer ahead!
- WHEN YOU ARRIVE, PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. Do not enter more than 5 minutes before class start times. We need to limit the amount of people in the studio at any given time, and this will help us do so!
- AFTER CLASS, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. We would love to chat with everyone after class, but this will help us limit the amount of people in the space and will allow our teachers time to sanitize common surfaces and tend to zoom students as well.
- DO NOT BRING EXTRA FRIENDS OR FAMILY. Please only visit the studio with minimal people. Siblings are welcome of course, but if they are able to stay at home, that will also help with our minimum customer restriction.
- WE WILL BE TAKING VARIOUS IN-STUDIO MEASURES TO HELP WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING. You'll notice traffic patterns, the way we are spacing kids in class as well as suggested seating on our viewing benches make accomodations for this.
- LIMITED PROPS & BYOB - We will be limiting props in the studio to items that can be wiped down in between classes. Furthermore, we reccomend you BYOB (Bring your own bag.....of props!) You can opt to pre-purchase a bag of props from us that your dancer can use over and over and go home with you each week!
- WHEN YOU ARRIVE, PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS. You'll notice our coffee stations will temporarily be replaced with "sanitation stations"! Please use them before class OR bring hand santizer and apply before class.
- COME DRESSED AND READY TO GO! This will allow us to keep common spaces such as the bathroom minimally used.
- IF YOUR DANCER IS 4 YEARS +, YOU MAY DROP OFF FOR CLASS. If your dancer is comfortable enough without you there, we are loosening restrictions on parents leaving during class.
- CLASSES MAY END 5 MINUTES EARLIER THAN NORMAL. This is to allow us to santize in between classes and tend to zoom students who are still dancing from home. We have taken on extra staff members to assist with this so that only 5 minutes is needed.
- BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE. You'll notice when you arrive that the drinking fountain is off limits as well as the coffee station. Please bring your own water from home.
- OUR TEACHERS WILL BE WEARING MASKS Although our masks will be adorable (did you expect any different?!) seeing adults in masks may be scary to children. Please prepare them for this by telling them beforehand and ensuring they know what a masked adult looks like. Also be aware that due to the nature of the job that dance teachers may need to remove their mask from time to time to breathe better while dancing or instructing. Their masks will always be worn when in closer proximity to dancers.
